I’m so excited to see what happens in the next one. In fact, I felt like it was totally believable! A killer falling for his enemies victim? YES PLEASE. Normally books like this have a tendency to feel forced but I didn’t get those feelings when reading this one. In truth, he's not just an artist: he's a predator, and the city is his hunting ground. His only weakness is the dark impulse he carefully conceals. He's the hottest sculptor in San Franciscowealthy, successful, and respected. The film follows a former hitman who tries to save his kidnapped son from a cartel boss in Mexico. Acting performances do not convince much either, and There Are No Saints overall is just another avoidable revenge plot wrapped in action. That’s Mara! And don’t forget the raw and dirty sex scenes that will make any reader blush. What a book where the “hero” (more like antihero) is somewhat of a □□□□□□□? That pretty much describes Cole. This one packs quite the punch and readers will be seeing a lot of dark and twisted things during their reading. Sophie Lark is a new to me author and I’m not only anxiously awaiting the final book in this duet (it releases on December 1st) but I’m looking forward to reading more of her books based solely on this one. □□□□□□ □□□□□□□□: Sophie Lark pens a twisted tale in this serial killer romance! I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I did but I think I’m sold on the trope now.
